Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the questions we get asked often. If yours isn’t answered, don’t hesitate to contact us, we’re happy to help!
-
What types of MIM products have you successfully manufactured?
-
We have extensive experience in MIM (Metal Injection Molding) mass production and have successfully manufactured various high-precision metal components, including medical metal parts, automotive precision structural components, 3C electronic components, smart wearable parts, and industrial tool components. These products have been validated through long-term mass production, supported by mature manufacturing processes, reliable quality control systems, and stable delivery capabilities.
-
Which industries do your MIM manufacturing solutions serve?
-
Our MIM solutions are widely used in industries including consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive, industrial equipment, and smart wearables. Based on different industry requirements, we provide customized solutions covering material selection, dimensional accuracy control, surface finishing, and process optimization. For example: 1. Medical industry: Focuses on material safety, reliability, and biocompatibility. 2. Automotive industry: Requires high strength, wear resistance, and long-term stability. 3. 3C electronics industry: Emphasizes lightweight design, high precision, and excellent surface appearance.
-
What precision can MIM parts achieve?
-
Our MIM components can achieve dimensional tolerances down to ±0.02mm, meeting the requirements of high-precision applications. For critical dimensions or functional areas, we can further improve accuracy through secondary processes such as CNC machining, turning, grinding, and polishing. After polishing, some components can achieve surface roughness as low as Ra 0.4μm, meeting the appearance and performance requirements of electronics, medical, and precision industrial applications.
-
What materials can be processed through MIM?
-
We support a wide range of metal materials for MIM manufacturing, including: 1. Austenitic stainless steel; 2. Precipitation-hardening stainless steel; 3. Martensitic stainless steel; 4. Low-alloy steel; 5. Titanium alloys; 6. Other non-ferrous metal materials. Different materials can meet various performance requirements, including high strength, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, toughness, and lightweight design.
